I’ve read the book and I was impressed with most of it. Got the villains on there, even Mother Gothel made me chuckled when I first saw her hair lol and the sidekicks were greatly drawn even loved how grumpy looked older. But on to the negative side, which is the reason why I haven’t given it 5 Stars. First off, I’ve noticed that the VKs That were mentioned in the original version of the novel like Harriet Hook, Ginny Gothel, the Gaston Twins, Anthony Tremaine and even Yzla weren’t even in the book. I was highly disappointed at that as that was main reasonsI was looking forward to. And also, I’ve noticed that some of the scenes from the original isn’t in there like Ben and Audrey’s date and the part when Ben lost his temper at the council meeting wasn’t on there. But overall, it’s still a good book, just that it’s missing some things . Not sure if I’ll be looking forward to the Return of the Isle of the Lost Graphic Novel if they were to do that. I mean I’m a huge fan of the franchise, just that I’m not sure if I’ll be excited for the next graphic novel if there is one.
